Braid Wigs

Pre Install

Upon unpacking unit may have slight crinkles from packaging you may dip ends in hot water to remove crinkles.

This method can only be used for box braids or cornrow units!

Don’t put your passion twist, faux locs, butterfly locs, bohemian braids, goddess braids, dreads, crochet locs into Hot water.

THIS WILL CAUSE DAMAGE

All units come with bleached knots you may bleach knots more if you desire. We recommend removing bleach with towel not submerging into water as doing so may cause braids to unravel.

Take Down

Remove all adhesive from unit with alcohol or adhesive remover. Lightly shampoo with warm water condition and rinse (Ogx Morocco shampoo/ conditioner or any of your preference). Pat dry, apply firm hold styling mousse to tame fly aways may trim if needed. Place on wig head to dry. We recommend this only for cornrow and box braid units unless you feel comfortable and will not damage unit. All other we recommend deep cleansing of lace and dry shampoo to keep longevity of unit.

To maintain longevity of your unit it is important at night to secure edges with scarf or bandanna,and wear a protective bonnet while you sleep to prevent your braids or locs from frizzing.

Remember to take care of your natural hair underneath. Do not allow your wigs to become damp frequently as this will cause them to become a bacteria breeding ground.

Lace Wigs 

Installation
Use CAUTION when bleaching as HD lace is thin and delicate, If not done correctly will cause over processing and shedding of unit. We recommend using 10- 20 vol. developer not applying bleach longer than 5-10min max! Knots will bleach very quickly keep a close eye to avoid over processing.

Maintenance
Before you begin washing the HD lace wigs, make sure all glue residues have been removed.
Use a comb designed for wig and a wide-tooth comb to brush curly hair. Gently brush hairs from the bottom to minimize shedding.

Use lukewarm or cold water to shampoo your HD lace wig. We recommend using Aussie Total Miracle shampoo and conditioner. Apply the hair conditioner and remember not to add conditioner on the root of the wig. Leave it 3-4 minutes and continue rinsing with water.
Pat dry the wig with a clean towel. Put your wig on a stand or mannequin head and let the hair air dry.

Bed Time Care
Before going to bed, braid your hair into one loose large braid and wear a satin scarf or bonnet.
After waking up, undo braid and comb using a wide tooth comb (or paddle brush)through beginning at the ends and working your way up to roots.
